On Tuesday 10th February, three enthusiastic Year 3 teams headed to the NSC to take part in a Tag Rugby Festival.
Although the festival focused on fun rather than competition — with no official scores recorded — the children certainly enjoyed keeping track of their own tries!
All three teams played brilliantly throughout the day, showing fantastic teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship. For many, it was their very first sporting event, and they rose to the occasion wonderfully. They supported one another, gave their best effort, and represented themselves and Vallajeelt with pride.
A huge thank you to the parents who helped manage a team and those who kindly transported children to and from the NSC. Your support made the day possible, and we’re incredibly grateful.
