Scoill Vallajeelt

"We are a learning community, working together to provide a safe, caring and supportive environment.
Our learning journey will be creative, challenging and personalised...
to be the best we can."

Scoill Vallajeelt were proud to take part in this year’s Buchan Netball Festival, with one Vallajeelt team and one Meadow Campus team representing the school. It was a wonderful morning of sport, teamwork and learning, giving all the children valuable experience ahead of the competitive tournament coming up in June.

The Vallajeelt team started the festival strongly, winning their first three matches without conceding a single goal. Their confidence and teamwork shone through on court. They then faced an experienced Buchan side. Despite showing determination and resilience throughout the game, Vallajeelt were narrowly defeated 7–3. It was a fast, competitive match, and the team reflected brilliantly on what they learned from the challenge.

The Meadow Campus team also enjoyed a great morning of netball. They drew two of their matches and lost two, but their improvement from game to game was clear to see. They played with fantastic teamwork, encouragement, and growing confidence.

Overall, it was a fun and valuable festival for all our players. Every child represented Scoill Vallajeelt brilliantly and gained important experience that will support their development as we prepare for June’s tournament. A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who helped transport the children and cheered them on throughout the festival. Your support makes such a difference, and we are very grateful.

Well done to everyone who took part—we’re very proud of you all!
