On Friday 27th June, our school council children had the incredible opportunity to attend the grand opening of the Sir Mark Cavendish Raceway. The atmosphere was electric, with excitement buzzing all around as people gathered to celebrate the renaming of the raceway.
The highlight of the day was meeting the legendary cyclist himself, Sir Mark Cavendish! The children were absolutely thrilled to chat with him and even get some items signed. It was truly an inspiring experience, and one they’ll never forget.
Everyone came away smiling, proud to have been part of such a special occasion for our community.
