Pippa, from Hospice IOM, came to school today so we could present her with a cheque from all our fundraising. We took part in The Big Splash campaign run by the hospice where schools could decorate a dolphin sculpture which would be displayed in a Government building on the Island during the fundraising. Our target was to raise £1000.
Over the last 6 months, we have run different events to raise money including an Easter Eggstravaganza Raffle, sponsored Beach Clean with Beach Buddies, coffee morning and a fancy dress day where the children could come dressed on the theme of The Sea.
WE RAISED AN ENORMOUS £2208 which totally smashed our target!
Pippa was thrilled to receive the cheque today from Daniel and Ella and told us that the money will be used to help lots of families on the Isle of Man. A HUGE thank you to our school community for helping us raise this wonderful amount.
