On Wednesday 15th November, Meadow Campus had two teams taking part in the Years 3/4 Fun Football Festival for Girls at The Bowl.
Team Meadow Campus had children from both St. Thomas’ and Scoill Vallajeelt. Their first game was against a very strong St. Marys team and the girls lost 4-0, however they bounced back extremely well and went on to win their next three games. They beat Dhoon 6-0, Bunscoill Rhumsaa 4-0 and Jurby 6-0. In total the girls scored 16 goals, only conceding 4!
Team Vallajeelt was a team of girls from Year 4 and they won all four of their games. They beat Onchan 3-0, Jurby 8-0, St. Johns 7-0 and Ashley Hill 5-1. In total the girls scored 23 goals and only conceded 1!
The girls showed great team spirit working hard for each other, everyone put in 100% effort and enjoyed their afternoon. All the girls should be very proud of themselves.
