Today Mrs Maurel brought in some Donut Fruit from the Donut Bush she grows in her garden that she brought over from South Africa. She shared the fruit with Year 1 and Year 2 and has also been kind enough to collect enough seeds for one each to take home and see if they will grow in our gardens at home.
Not sure the children have caught on to the tradition of April Fool's yet...........
