On Friday 24th May, two teams of 6 year 6 children took part in the golf festival at the NSC. It was a fun but competitive festival which included 4 other schools. There were 8 different holes with each one having a different aim which involved either chipping or putting the golf ball to score points.
Both Vallajeelt teams really got in to the spirit of the competition and were very competitive with each other which spurred them on even more. They did extremely well with one team scoring 1522 points and the other time finishing just ahead with 1547 points!!! This was enough points for Vallajeelt to finish in 1st & 2nd place overall! A huge well done to all children involved, you really did the school proud!
