Scoill Vallajeelt

"We are a learning community, working together to provide a safe, caring and supportive environment.
Our learning journey will be creative, challenging and personalised...
to be the best we can."

Scoill Vallajeelt held their annual Eurovision Song Contest during the last week of term before TT.

Each class had chosen a country to represent and had learned a song in the language of that country to perform in the competition.
The performance started with a slideshow about the country that the children had prepared sharing facts such as the name of the language, foods, government, geography, history and even sports! Then it was down to the singing itself. Each class had organised to wear special outfits and Y2 donned custom-made tie-dyed tshirts!!

Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl and Miss Lyon were the judges and awarded points for singing, outfits and performance.

It was a wonderful morning and each class sung their hearts out and it was plain to see how much hard work had gone into learning the song, choreographing the show as well as designing the outfits!

There could be only one winner..........................CONGRATULATIONS Y4! You sang with gusto and your accompanying video and use of green screen was awesome!

Thank you to all the staff and parents for getting into the Euro spirit!!
