Y5 went to the Venture Centre for an overnight stay and 2 days of fun, water and more fun!
They went kayaking in the Mooragh Lake which meant learning new skills of balance, coordination and steering. Back onsite, the children participated in lots of problem solving which included trying to get across a stream without getting wet. (Some were more successful than others!)
Mrs. Dixon and Mrs. Asbridge really enjoyed taking the children and saw some excellent examples of team work, encouragement, inspiration and bravery! They all looked like they had a great time and are now ready for their next challenge..........havng Mrs. Dixon as their teacher again in Y6!
A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Dixon and Mrs. Asbridge for taking Y5 and also to Mrs. Freestone and Mrs. Taylor for helping out during the day activities.
