On Tuesday 7th Feb, a team of Year 3s took part in the Primary school’s Tag Rugby Fun Festival. It was a massive event with 27 teams taking part.
The Festival was a chance for the teams to practise their skills in a competitive arena and we had to play against 5 other schools in our pool. It was also an opportunity to learn a little more about game play as the teams were also given advice by the referees as they were playing. Each game for our pool was around the 10 minute mark the whole team played throughout the event.
All the children played with enthusiasm and honed their skills as the games progressed. They were very successful and won all of their games. The children’s behaviour was also superb, as was the support from their parents.
