Y6 have been away this week in deepest Wales on their residential to Manor Adventure.
We have really missed them in school but they have been having an ACE time getting up to all sorts of outdoor activities and challenges.
High ropes, kayaking, shelter building, fire pit, playing rounders and rock climbing to name but a few. The children have been able to demonstrate their understanding of the 6Rs in all of their activities- being resilient when trying new things, being resourceful when using the fire pit, readiness in their equipment to go rock climbing, supporting their friends with encouragement demonstrates great relationships, remembering how to unpack and pack their cases (?!) and reflectiveness on what they have learned and enjoyed on this wonderful trip away. Can't wait to hear what you all have achieved when you get back to school!
A BIG thank you to Mrs. Parkes, Mrs. Asbridge and Mrs. Brew for giving up their time to accompany the children.
