On Tuesday 22nd October, Vallajeelt Vulcans took part in the National Hockey Finals. The tournament consisted of 9 teams around the Island, all of whom had won their pool from the regional festivals. We played 8 games in total winning 3, drawing 2 and losing 3. We finished in 6th place which is amazing! It was lovely to watch every players determination on the pitch, never giving up! I really hope they all continue to play hockey for a team on the island. Well done everyone, you should be really proud of yourselves. A huge thank you to all the parents who helped with the team, transported children to the NSC and cheered us on.
