Today we held our Off by Heart poetry competition which had been postponed from Book Week.
14 children performed their poems in front of the whole school whilst the Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl and Miss Lyon had the hard task of being the judging panel. The children performed FANTASTICALLY and we had 2 finalists from each class.
It was a hard decision but in the end in third place was Jacob Y4, then Maham in Y5 in second place and the winner was Mya in Y6.
Congratulations to all the children who, in their own time, learned their poem off by heart!
