On Wednesday 15th October, our Vallajeelt Vikings and Vipers took to the hockey pitch with determination, pride, and true sportsmanship — and what a performance they delivered!
Vallajeelt Vikings: Resilience in Every Match
The Vikings battled fiercely in every game, showing incredible grit and perseverance. Even when the odds were against them, they kept their heads high and their spirits strong. Their hard work paid off in the 9th vs 10th place play-off, where they secured a commanding 3-0 victory. A fantastic finish that truly reflected their fighting spirit!
Vallajeelt Vipers: Teamwork That Took Them to the Top
The Vipers impressed with fantastic teamwork and consistent performance throughout the tournament. With 3 wins, 1 draw, and 2 narrow losses, they clinched third place overall — earning a well-deserved spot in the national finals! Their unity on and off the field was a joy to watch and a credit to the school.
A huge thank you to Mr Crowe for taking charge of Vallajeelt Vipers, the parents who helped us walk down to the NSC and of course all the parents who cheered us along in every game. All the children should be very proud of themselves.
